When painting with the AnimPainting mode (Brush + alt) there are always 2 presses registered per frame. If painting with a 1px brush, each frame will contain 2px. Is this on purpose, did i set something up wrong or is it a bug? (According to the help “As you can see each dot is drawn on a separate frame.”, for me it’s 2 dots per frame.)

I guess you are using continuous drawing:
This creates a stroke and then flips frame.
For single dots please use dotted painting:
