Converting a sprite sheet into an animation?

I know the convert image to animstrip(sprite sheet) does exist and that is powerful. But would it be possible to make a convert animstrip to animation? I mean the frame size on all frames would be the same wouldn’t it? And also this would help anyone who is importing a sprite sheet from any other program. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can just use File/Load Animation and then select a BMP or PNG file. It will then ask you for the frame dimensions/frame layout.
