I often found it quite hard to see the mouse cursor when working with high resolutions ; i think it could be awesome to have an option allowing users to customize it and/or resize it

Yeah, the editing crosshair cursor is very small at 4K.
Even an option to use the system crosshair cursor would be good, then can use larger cursor themes when necessary.
I hope to find the time this year to work on DPI awareness. I’ll connect combine the cursor size with that topic.
I did some experiments and I think I can add a scaling factor independent from the DPI awareness. But at the moment it leads to ugly and wrong scaling which seems to be a bug in the development system.
Added a “double size” option now. Hope this solves the problem a bit until full DPI awareness is done.
