Images/Animations with the Layer Mask FX seem to only export the layers above the FX layer and the FX Layer itself. The rest will be output as transparent. This affects all exports, including exporting animation frames as separate files. This prevents the project from being able to be exported correctly using all export methods.
Examples with FX Layer visible and not visible:
FX Layer Not Visible (Purple Gradient hidden but all layers appear correctly)
FX Layer Visible (Purple Gradient visible, but smiling face layer not output to file)
