I have found when I export to .GIF when I add a file name to it like
1…A this is my file.GIF
I have found when I go to that file it would only show up as
1.GIF
I really don’t know if any other file types are affected, I do know that .PNG is not affected though. Please fix this it is really annoying to have to change the files all the time.
Thanks in advance.
Can’t duplicate. I used “1…A this is my file.GIF” and it stores it using that name. It just turneed .GIF to .gif .
Can you describe the steps in more detail so that I can make it happen here?
Ok Jan.cosmigo let’s try this
1.make a file say 7 frames
2.make each image different
3.go to file/ save animation
4.save as gif
5.call the file "A.1. junk
6.when you go to open the file it is saved as A.!. and nothing else
I see, it interpretes the “.junk” as extension and replaces it by “.gif”.
This is general behavior, but an odd one as I must admit. Will change this.
