Left mouse button activating even if click with middle button

I think it's a bug...

If you have the pro motion window NOT focused, like you are clicking on chrome or clicking on a word document, and then click on pro motion window with the middle button, it will act as if you clicked with the left mouse button. It can cause undesired painting with the pencil tool if that tool is selected at the moment.

Will check and fix this. Middle mouse button is by default mapped to holding Space and left click to drag the canvas. Obviously the “space key” action is omitted when coming from another active software.
