I hope that I’m not requesting a feature that’s already implemented 
I think it would be a great feature to have ordered dithered remapping, especially for downsampling true colour images, or using graphics from 2 separate paletted files.

At the moment only random dithering (error diffusion). Adding ordered dithering should not be too hard. Added it to my list
