Currently the only way to do it is to open a project and then “save as”. But why not add ability to use a certain pmp file as a template? Stuff like file name/export file name would be cleared out, but everything else (dimensions, palette, grid settings, project type and so on) would be copied from the “template”. Pretty much like Word’s templates work like .dot files are just regular .doc files which Word then uses to create a new document from, copying everything except for the name.
