V8 displays error when Windows Display 125%

V8 displays error when Windows Display 125%
NG125bug
beta 8 no error so must be new or in installer version or smth

win7
both at aero and classic
after i do error skip, it seems normal.

when 100% no error
those percents are a standard windows setting so i’d think it should be ok regardless the old system, so i’m reporting. be well, thx for v8

Hi @iliasboufidis,

after that dialog another one appears which offers to send error details. Can you please use this to send the error details to me?
Then I can see where the problem appears in the code and might be able to fix this. You are the only one reporting this yet.

-Jan

best i can do is this txt
i’m erasing lines that i consider personal

error details:
happens when i start at 125%

Although I could not duplicate this, I think that it should be fixed with V8.0.2. I included some extra check at the code position where the error occurred.

thank you jan, i’m sorry i couldn’t be anymore helpful, but the reaction was repeatable and specific and exclusive to the latest install version, so i thought you’d want to know, if you cant replicate it on a similar system with similar settings, maybe it’s not even worth bothering… i don’t know, code not my specialty…
